Breads (Real Breads)
Modern supermarket bread is designed to be fast, cheap and uniform. It’s often made using highly refined flours and processing aids so it can be mixed, baked and on the shelf in a matter of hours. Convenient, yes — but not much like the bread most of us grew up with.
Our bread takes a slower, more traditional approach. All loaves are made using local, non‑GMO heritage flours, with doughs fermented for at least 12–14 hours. This longer fermentation develops flavour, improves texture, and gives the bread time to become what bread is meant to be.
If supermarket bread feels a bit Frankenstein — assembled quickly from parts — this is the antidote. Just time, skill, and a short list of recognisable ingredients.
All loaves are £6.00. We bake in small batches and they sell out quickly, so if you’d like bread for a specific day, it’s best to order a few days in advance.
